Nollywood actor Joseph Momodu has stirred up a conversation by challenging the popular belief that money cannot buy happiness.

Sharing a series of photos featuring himself in a sleek Ferrari in California, USA, Momodu noted about the comforts of wealth compared to more modest means. Momodu wrote in his post:

“People often say money can’t buy genuine happiness… but I guess it’s more comfortable to cry in a Ferrari than in a Camry.”

His statement, accompanied by a playful tone, reflects on the comfort and luxury that money can afford, even if it does not guarantee true happiness.

The actor’s post resonated with his followers, generating a wave of comments.

Nollywood star Adeniyi Johnson who was recently suspended indefinitely by the African Men Entertainment Kings (AFRIMEK) club responded with enthusiasm, saying, “Cargo it,” while Bolanle Ninalowo expressed his admiration with, “I like the Ferrari.”

Other fans shared their own perspectives, such as Bravo_degreat, who stated, “Even if na Camry, I no mind,” and Ileri_oluwah, who stated, “They said money can’t buy happiness but I still wanna get it. I’d rather cry in a private jet than smile in the trenches.”

In other news, Nollywood actor Adeniyi Johnson has been suspended indefinitely from the AFRIMEK club headed by colleague, Femi Adebayo.

The club gave reasons such as misconduct and breach of constitution as its reasons for the suspension.

Adeniyi Johnson has since addressed the suspension placed on him by his club in a post on his official account on the photo and video sharing platform, Instagram.
