Arsenal footballer, Bukayo Saka thanks Nigerians for their friendly welcome as he shares a video of himself in Somolu, Lagos.
On May 30, 2023, the 21-year-old athlete arrived in his own country. He posted a video of himself on Instagram from Somolu, Lagos, where he had recently traveled for an event.
He expressed gratitude to Nigerians on his Instagram page for their warm welcome to his country. As fans took to the comment session to hail him, calling him ‘Our star boy’

It would be recalled that the forward England player recently signed a new long-term contract.
Bukayo has advanced from our academy into the first team since he joined Arsenal as an eight-year-old, and this season once again underlined his standing as one of the best players in the nation thanks to another genuinely exceptional performance.
The 21-year-old, who has participated in each of Arsenal’s Premier League games for the past two seasons, has improved on his previous season’s total of 12 goals by scoring 14 goals in all competitions in 2022/23, including 11 assists. He has already made a total of 178 first-team appearances as a result of his excellent development and constant outstanding performances.
