Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Teni Apata, popularly known as Teni entertainer, has shared her opinions on Davido’s defeat to South-African musician, Tyla, at the 66th Grammy awards.
Teni took to her Instagram page on Monday February 5, 2024, warning South Africa’s football team about the challenge they will face at the ongoing AFCON match against Nigeria on Wednesday, February 7th.
Using humor, Teni stressed that Nigeria’s team will make South Africa “dance amapiaono on field.”
She jokingly pointed fingers at the Grammy Awards, suggesting they might be dampening the celebratory atmosphere in Nigeria. She questioned if they are attempting to “spoil our fun,” highlighting that there is now a concern.
In her words, “See, South Africa, you are in for it. Osimhen over to you, Lookman, over to you”.
This comes after Teni made jest of Ghanaian players after losing football match to Super Eagles at the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON)
