Olori Ladun, the widow of the late Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuwade seems to have gotten her groove back, embracing social life again.
During her reigning days as the wife of the late Ooni of Ife, she was a permanent fixture on the social scene and ruled the celebrity social circuit with her great fashion sense for longer years.
But all that seems to have changed after she lost her husband.
As a result of the death of her hubby, the beautiful and ageless society mama has since then maintained a low life style, leaving the social space for the younger socialites
The notable woman who still remain beautiful as ever, has finally come to terms with her husband’s demise or perhaps just misses owambe parties where she sways high many years back.
Whatever the case, Olori Ladun is presently staging a return as she was sighted days back at the burial ceremony of the late society matriarch, Biodun Laja, the late founder, British International School, Lagos.
As usual, she was at social best, visible and seen exchanging banters with other notable celebrities at the funeral.
However, despite her ravishing beauty, Olori Ladun has remained single years after the death of her husband.
The reason is not far-fetched, Olori Ladun and four other widows left behind by Oba Okunade Sijuade have been banned by the tradition from re-marrying.
According to the Priest,
the spirit of the late Ooni still lives, noting that its’s forbidden for the wives to lay with another man.
The widows of the late Ooni included Olori Morisola, Ladun, Odunayo, Adedolapo and Linda .
Their ages ranging between 40’s and 60’s.
