Olamide gave me free verse after rejecting the ₦100 million I gave him, good people exist and Baddo is one – Tiwa Savage

Songstress Tiwa Savage has revealed a wonderful story about her encounter with colleague cum rapper, Olamide.

Tiwa Savage disclosed how Olamide rejected ₦100 million for a verse in her song after his management billed her.

The Stamina crooner claimed Olamide did not charge her because of their sibling-like bond and his knowledge of the hardships female artists face in the music industry.

Instead, Olamide graciously provided the verse for free, exhibiting his caring and helpful personality.

Tiwa Savage expressed her gratitude and acknowledged the existence of decent people in the industry, such as Olamide. The singer, who recently released the tune ‘Commona’ with Olamide, said:

“I was talking to his management, I didn’t want to talk to him directly cus he would want to do it for free. Spoke to his team and they charged N100m. I was willing to pay. When Olamide asked them who the artiste was, they said me and he just said NO. He won’t take it.

He said I am his sister and he knows how difficult it is to make it in the industry as a woman. That’s how he denied and guess what? He gave me the verse for Free. Good people exist and Baddo is one”
