Nigerian rapper, Olamide Adedeji seems to think that his friend and colleague, Wizkid is bigger than all the artistes in the industry.

He agreed with a fan’s assertion that the ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner is not anybody’s mate, during an argument about who’s had a more longstanding successful career among the music heavyweights.

The fan known @Jah_Boy01 shared a snapshot of MI Abaga’s ‘Fast Money Fast Cars’ featuring Wizkid, which topped charts in 2008, when it was released.

The tweet went viral on the microblogging platform, and among those who liked it was the YBNL founder, Olamide.

According to Jah Boy, that was a confirmation from the rapper and his own way of trying to end the argument online.

He posted a screenshot which clearly shows that Olamide liked the post and captioned; “Olamide Bado liked this tweet where I said “wizkid senior everybody, It’s been looooonnn !!

This should end every argument of who’s the first between wiz and olamide. Baba done give us hint !”

It is coming after music star, Davido said he and his counterpart, Wizkid were the first young artistes to become successful.

He claimed that everybody is aware of this and noted that he was excited to see “new cats” dominating the music industry.

Davido grouped Burna Boy, Rema, Fireboy, Mayorkun and Asake as the ‘new cats’ who came after him and Wizkid.

The music executive made this statement during an interview that’s trending on social media platforms.

He said; “Everybody knows that I was one of the first, Wizkid and I were the first young artistes to blow up and it feels good seeing new cats like Burna Boy, Rema, Fireboy, Mayorkun.

You know a lot of new cats coming, killing it…Asake who was on my album. So, yes, I think the future of Afrobeat is in good hands.”
