The not too young to run campaign seems to be effective and yielding results in Nigeria as younger politicians have emerged victorious and elected in recent elections and capacities across the country. The trending young politicians are the newly elected speakers of Oyo and Plateau state State respectively.

The 32 years old Adebo Ogundoyin popularly called (Ogun D) has just emerged the Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly. Adebo is representing Ibarapa-East at the 9th Assembly.

He emerged unopposed with a unanimous voice vote of the 32 members Assembly. Hon Adebo Ogundoyin just took the oath of Allegiance and Office at 11:05 am as the Speaker of the 9th OYO state House of Assembly.

 

In the Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Abok Nuhu Ayuba has been elected as the Speaker of its 9th Assembly today 10th June 2019.

Abok Nuhu Ayuba who is 33 years old,  a 500-level student of Law at the University of Jos.

This is a first-time a lawmaker representing Jos East constituency has emerged as Speaker of the State Assembly.
