A Nollywood actress has posted on her Twitter hander and on an interview with BBC that men look at women as sexual object

Toni tones said “Men look at women as sexual objects and feel like they’re there for their pleasure”

Nollywood actress @iamToniTones shares her experience with sexual harassment by speaking of the moment she was asked to sleep with a producer to keep a movie role.

She should mention the producer’s name. This attacks on men especially by these folks that cannot hold a relationship should please stop. It’s uncivilized to put all men in the guilty party. If she’s truly honest, she should call out the producer.

She would probably receive a lot of hate and backlash. And she clearly seems like she’s moved on from it. If she names him it will just create a firestorm and she just wants to raise awareness on the issue

Throwing the word “men” into the phrase is unfair, mentioning the producer (if true) will save other women from his claws.

When a crime or criminal is reported, other other would be victims are saved. It is a crime to sexually harass/assault anyone, people go to jail for it here.
When she speak “men” she is generalizing. She ‘s talked with a lunatic, but forgets not all the men are the same

I like what she projected, she wouldn’t trade sex for a movie and she wasn’t going to lighten(bleach) her skin to conform to industry standards.

That’s what all women should stand for to take away the “power” of those men
Well said. Too many people STILL don’t get it. I’m thankful for those who keep speaking up!

It’s women that give the power to those men. When all women would say “no” it would soon be over. Solidariteit ladies!
