A Nigerian man has been overcome with tears as he received his father’s lifeless body from Europe.
A video stirring emotions online captured the moment the man arrived at Muritala Muhammad airport in Lagos state as he waited for the returns of his dad, who seemingly died in Europe.
In the touching video, a long trailer was spotted moving inside the airport with a rectangular black package containing a coffin packed as cargo.
After the vehicle packed, people moved towards the coffin as they unboxed it, highlighting the pain and grief experienced by the family.
Upon seeing the body of his father, the man burst into tears as he left the airport with his dad’s corpse.
As the video circulated online, it elicited an outpouring of sympathy and support from social media users.
Many, who watched the clip were moved by the raw emotion as their express their condolences to the grieving family.

I remember when I lost my elder brother in 2021 I couldn’t even think straight not talk of having the time to record and send such videos to public domain. To lose a loved one is so sad and heartbreaking but then having the time to record and send to media feels like the deáth no really pain you that much”.
