Generous Nigerian lady and blogger Temilola Sobola, has captured the attentions of many online by giving out food to beggars on the street in honor of the first-year remembrance of the late singer, Mohbad.
The kind gesture was captured in a viral video and it stirred emotional reactions as social media users paid their tributes to the late Peace Crooner.
Mohbad, whose real name was Ilerioluwa Aloba Oladimeji, was a rising star in the Afrobeats industry before his untimely death in 2023. Known for his unique sound and energetic performances, his music touched the hearts of many. His tragic passing left fans in shock, and since then, several of his supporters have found different ways to commemorate his life and legacy.
The young lady decided to honor Mohbad’s memory by giving back to those in need. On the first anniversary of his death, she was seen making Jollof rice and packed that into disposable covered plate.
Temilola, known for using her social media to speak out about the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death, went out to the streets to hand out food and drinks to beggars, spreading joy to many. In the video shared online, she was seen engaging warmly with those receiving the items.
She captioned the video, “Dear God, I commit ILERIOLUWA unto your hands. Bless his soul, forgive him his sins, grant him eternal rest and peace. May happiness and peace be far from everyone involved in his demise. You will forever be remembered😭I LOVE YOU IMOLE❤️”.
