A Nigerian lady known as Temi has shared her near fatal experience which resulted from her having to handle the bill incurred during a date.
She revealed via Twitter that she took a friend out on a date and offered to pay when they were done ordering.
However, they were given a bill of more than N100,000 and after making the payment she began to experience palpitations (rapid, irregular heartbeat).
Temi made this known on Twitter while reacting to a tweep who suggested that women should start paying for dates more.
”I think more women should start paying on dates, you’ll see how relaxed and comfortable it’ll make you feel, the power & control it gives you after the date.
You’ll also feel comfortable to order anything to want on the menu as a boss bxtch
Ur still treating yourself anyway,” the post read.
In response, Temi shared her story, writing; “Omo I paid 100k plus bill on a date I took my lovely friend and I didn’t feel relaxed or powerful. In fact, my chest was very tight and I had palpitations.”
