‘N100,000 salary is enough to start family, plan based on what you earn’ – Man advises

A Nigerian man simply known as Seriki has claimed that one does not need to earn an outrageous amount of money monthly to be a family man.

The consultant posited on his Twitter page that making N100,000 (Hundred Thousand Naira) monthly is enough for a man to start a family.

Seriki stressed that such can be maintained so long as the man does not live above his means.

He stirred debate with the comment which read; “100k salary is enough to start a family if you don’t live above your means.

You plan based on what you earn. Una wan dey live life of dorime.

In Abuja all you’ll do is look for location that are affordable, you must not live in the High class areas.”

@bigbrovar; Outside of this twitter bubble. The stats states that a vast majority of Nigerian family don’t even make up to 100k a month. We are talking family income.

Heck majority would consider themselves rich to make 100k a month. Minimum wage is fucking 30k a month.

@DJ_NEWGUY; What people don’t understand is, it’s always the same amount of money at the end of the day, if you leave closer to your work, house rent expensive, go to remote area and your yearly transportation will equivalent same house rent you refused to pay and stress inclusive. Death.

@mr_factuality; Na mumu go disagree with this tweet. Key takeaway is “above your means”. If you disagree you are essentially saying every one with a family in Lagos earns above 100k monthly and that’s total fallacy.

Talk about rent is expensive in Lekki. Wetin you Dey find for Lekki on 100k/m
