A Nigerian woman has cried out because her husband wants to divorce after finding out that she committed paternity fraud.
She revealed that they have been married for six years and he recently learnt that he is not the bilogical father of their first born, who is 5 years old.
According to the woman, a friend informed her husband that the child is not his, so he went for a DNA test and the result confirmed his fears.
She believes her husband is overreacting because the child is still the same irrespective of the DNA test, so she expects him to just accept their baby.
She wondered why they cannot just pray over the development, invite God to their home and move on from the complicated situation
In her words; “My husband of 6 years is divorcing me because he discovered that our first born is not his child. A friend sold me out and my husband demanded a paternity test which came out negative.
The child is 5 this year. Am I wrong to think my husband is overreacting? He loves this child and has been a good father from birth. Why is he letting a mere test change all this? The child is still the same. Intelligent, humble, loving and cute. Why can’t we pray about it and invite God to our house? I am so drained right now.”
