A Nigerian lady has expressed fury after she sent back a huge sum of money that a woman erroneously transferred to her bank account without receiving any funds.
The student disclosed that N2 million was credited to her bank account by an unknown person and she decided to return it to the owner, however, the person did not reward her.
She spoke in a video posted on TikTok, the narrating how she went to great lengths to ensure the money was returned to the woman only for her not to get rewarded
The young lady said she left her class, transported herself to the bank and ensured the funds were returned to the rightful owner.
The student explained that she went through all these stress hoping that the sender whom she presumed was a businessperson would acknowledge her sacrifice and compensate her.
Also, she shared a voice note that she sent to the owner wherein she vented her spleen and accused the recipient of being selfish and inconsiderate.
In her words: “You are being selfish. I am a student. I left my class and boarded transport because I felt you’re a businessperson and needed the money. I left everything asap and went to back.
“They kept me waiting and you are now doing this at the end of the day. My God will judge you for wasting my time. Ordinary transport I wasted. And you’re saying you are a Yoruba woman. You re not a Yoruba woman. You are a woman that is disappointing her child. Rubbish.”
