MohBad: Nigerians slam Naira Marley over ‘Fake’ viral video

Nigerians have lashed out at Naira Marley over a video he made explaining the last conversation he had with MohBad.

Social media users accused him of cloning Mohbad’s voice and faking the call just so he can be exonerated and free from the wrath of Nigerians.

Recall that MohBad died on September 12 and was buried the next day in Ikorodu, Lagos State.

The sudden and tragic death of the 27-year-old singer generated backlashes against the Marlian boss and his caucus from many Nigerians.

Naira Marley, on Tuesday, in a statement released on his Instagram account, distanced himself from Mohbad’s death.

However, on Wednesday, former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri shared a video of Naira Marley and Mohbad conversing.

During the purported phone conversation, the ‘Yahoo Boy’ crooner said that the late singer mentioned to him about feeling suicidal and had already done a video telling the world to blame Naira Marley and his team for his death.

The video has sparked mixed reactions online, with many questioning Naira Marley’s purpose in recording the conversation while others claimed it could be AI-generated to exonerate himself.
