Mixed reactions have been trailing the video of Nollywood box office queen Funke Akindele as she addresses her previous movie leak.

Last night, Funke Akindele hosted her cast, crew and cinema members for her upcoming blockbuster, Everybody Loves Jenifa.

The film, set for release this December 13th, has been making waves online with high expectations from the series Jenifa’s Diary fans.

Speaking on the mishap that befell her previous project, A Tribe Called Judah, which was leaked on Telegram while it was still airing JN the cinema, Funke Akindele urged the cinema security to guide against phone recordings and using of mobile.

While still thankful for the film’s record-breaking success, the mother of two hoped her new project would gross higher than the former.

She also spoke against dragging audiences to watch a particular film. She advises against doing such things because people already have a particular film they want to watch.

A mixed response followed her statement as many took her words contrary to their meaning.

Recall that Funke Akindele opened up on the hard times she encountered before her rise to stardom a few days ago.

She shared a video of herself being active on the set of her highest-grossing billion movie, A Tribe Called Judah, on her Instagram page.

She spoke about how the film depicted the present challenges of single mothers in raising children.

She counted herself as a testimony of believing in herself, saying she faced different challenges but learned to stand tall and encourage others because of them.

The box office queen encouraged her followers to continue inspiring the next generation of women.
