The Nigerian government has approved the construction of a private airstrip at Canaanland, the headquarters of Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners Chapel, in Ota, Ogun State.

Bishop David Oyedepo, the church’s founder, announced the development during a special service, highlighting its significance for worshippers and guests, especially during large-scale events like the annual Shiloh convention.

The airstrip will streamline travel by allowing direct access to Canaanland, bypassing major airports.

“Federal government has approved an airstrip for Canaanland. You’re working in the centre of God’s plan so I won’t need to fly a helicopter to the airport. I can go from here to wherever I want. Members with their planes would’ve where to land and park,” Bishop Oyedepo stated.

Bishop Oyedepo emphasized that the project, fully financed by the church, reflects its commitment to self-reliance and infrastructure development.

Though the construction timeline has not been disclosed, the church assured members that the project will adhere to regulatory standards and safety measures.
