Mel B says she’ll be ‘honest and open’ about her sexuality after her divorce from Stephen Belafonte and falling in love with mystery woman in explosive tell-all book

Former Spice Girls star, Mel B, 42, who is expected to release an explosive tell-all book, has vowed that she’ll be ‘open and very honest’ about her sexuality.

In the tell-all book, the songstress will give intimate details of her five-year past relationship with a woman she fell in love with before her 10-year marriage to Stephen Belafonte, which has since been dissolved.

Discussing her romance life with the Metro newspaper, she said: ‘I was dating a girl for five years and, if you fall in love, you fall in love, I did. I was born very honest,’ she told the publication.

‘Whatever I feel, whatever I think, as long as I’m not hurting anyone else, I’m just going to carry on and have fun.’

Mel also revealed that she has a ‘healthy sex life’ while shedding more light on her love life.

She explained: ‘When I’m with someone and even if I don’t necessarily like them, I’ve got a healthy sex life. When I’m single, no.’

Mel, who is the mother of three children: Phoenix, 19, from Jimmy Gulzar, Angel, 11, from Eddie Murphy and Madison, 6, from Stephen Belafonte, also said that she’ll not speak negatively of her ex-partners in the book.

‘It’s the story mainly about the last 10 years,’ she said. ‘I’m kind of just exposing what I’ve been through the last 10 years… my marriage and relationship… quite the ups and downs.’

She continued: ‘Oh yes. I’ve got three daughters by three different men, three different solid relationships. I would never want to talk bad about any of their fathers.

‘We made beautiful babies together and all three babies were made with a lot of love. It’s more about my personal journey and what I put up with and what I allowed to happen.’

According to Mel, she hopes the book will help her children recognise unhealthy relationship in the early stages.

‘Just to recognise certain things; to recognise what an unhealthy relationship is and not to settle for anything other than respect, love and honesty and that’s it.’
