Senior Special Assistant on Special Duties to Delta State Governor Okowa Ifeanyi, Prince Olusoji Olatunji, has discussed about measures taken by the Delta state government on the pandemic COVID-19.
Olatunji Olusoji in a skype interview with Silverbird TV said the government is putting in all efforts coupled with different strategies as a precautionary plans to combat the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The SSA to the governor was also spotted days ago sharing food items and other relief materials to the less privileged community to help them relief their tensions during their stay in quarantine.
In an early report, on Tuesday 31st March, the governor of Delta state updated the people on the Coronavirus, he said that the state was expecting results of three patients who reportedly showed symptoms of the virus from Irrua Specialist Hospital in Edo, and whose samples were taken for investigation.
He said the state would continue to be on a red alert to combat any outbreak of the Covid-19 disease in the state.
Okowa also urged the people of the state to continue to adhere to measures that had been set in place by the government to check the spread of the virus to the state.
Prince Olusoji Olatunji is likely to go live with Silverbird today for another session of the interview.
