Nigerian gospel film actor and founder of Mount Zion film production, Mike Bamiloye, has shared his thoughts on the state of marriage among pastors.
In a recent post on X, he highlighted the challenges faced by some pastors in their marriages.
According to pastor Mike Bamiloye, some pastors are not experiencing fulfilling marriages, but rather enduring them due to various reasons.
He noted that some pastors’ wives use their husbands’ ministries as a means to manipulate them, believing that their husbands are unable to take drastic measures due to their calling.
“Several women believe that pastors cannot beat them like unbelievers or divorce them at will. They use the man’s calling or ministry to blackmail him.
“Several pastors are not enjoying their marriage but enduring it”, he wrote.
In another story, Pastor Mike Bamiloye calls for a stop to actresses sitting on male colleagues laps in gospel films.
Taking to Facebook, the outspoken pastor laid down the law, insisting that there’s a clear standard for how Christians should conduct themselves in the realm of make-believe.
Bamiloye didn’t hold back, declaring it a significant blunder for female Christian actors to sit on a man’s lap, whether in a drama scene or during a movie shoot.
His bold statement is not just a passing comment; it’s a rallying cry for believers to uphold their values and set an example in an industry that often blurs moral lines. His post has sparked a fiery debate online, with many supporters applauding his stance while others are left questioning the implications of such a rule.
