Manchester United will reportedly target at least two major signings with Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen on the list
A centre-forward and further reinforcements in midfield are said to be United’s priority in the next transfer window, with a centre-back also potentially needed if captain Harry Maguire leaves.
However, according to the Manchester Evening News, plans are already taking shape for further strengthening of the United squad in the summer.
United are interested in the Napoli striker Victor Osimhen and Tottenham’s Harry Kane, while Ten Hag is an admirer of Benfica and Portugal star Goncalo Ramos.
The manager also believes Mohammed Kudus, who plays for his former club Ajax, also has what it takes to prosper in the Premier League. In midfield, Ten Hag could be open to a renewed pursuit of Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong, a player he was desperate to sign last summer.
This comes after United ended their six-year trophy drought by beating Newcastle United 2-0 to win the Carabao Cup at Wembley on Sunday and Ten Hag’s side remains in contention in the Premier League, FA Cup, and UEFA Europa League this season.
