Man Utd vs Barcelona: Solskjaer gives injury updates ahead of Champions League tie

Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has given updates on the injuries of Nemanja Matic, Ander Herrera, Eric Bailly and Antonio Valencia, ahead of Wednesday’s game against Barcelona.

United host the La Liga champions in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final clash, with several players doubtful.

“We still hope maybe that Nemanja Matic can be ready and Ander Herrera is probably out.

“Eric Bailly and Antonio Valencia are definitely out,” Solskjaer told reporters on Tuesday.

The Norwegian also said Alexis Sanchez will not feature against former club, Barcelona.

“He’s done lots of recovery work and he’s injury free. He’s probably in the squad for West Ham. He’s not going to be able to join in tomorrow,” Solskjaer added.
