Drama recently unfolded in the home of a Kenyan man as his wife fell into a trap he laid to find out if she was cheating on him.
He said he has been suspecting her of being unfaithful for some time, so left his home under the guise of traveling and returned in the wee hours only to catch his wife with her lover by 5 am.
The father of two from Nakuru told Kenyan outlet, Tuko that he was heartbroken, but he controlled his anger and called his brothers to help him carry the woman’s lover to the elders in Keringet.
“We caught him in my house where I live with my two children and wife. My brothers helped me bundle him into the car,” the man said.
However, in a strange twist of events, his wife phoned the police and reported that her husband abducted a man, whom she did not disclose was her boyfriend.
Her husband said police came to arrest him and his brothers but when he informed them of what transpired in his home, they let him go.
According to the married man, the officers acted professionally after learning the circumstances under which he had taken the man to the elders.
“The police, who had been misled to believe we were criminals, came for us ready to arrest us, but after we narrated our side of the story, they understood our situation,” he added.
