A Nigerian man, Chukwunonso Bryan Ayogu has revealed that he’s flown his siblings out of the country to join him in the United Kingdom.
He said that he made the decision to leave Nigeria in 2021 after the October 20, 2020 #EndSARS shooting incident in Lekki toll gate, Lagos broke his heart.
Ayogu said that he pledged to relocate one of his siblings per year after his graduation so that they could also start their Masters programme and he has been doing that since 2021.
Sharing photos of himself with his brothers at the airport, the young man welcomed his younger brother who joined them in October 2023.
He wrote; “When I left Nigeria in January 2021, I made myself a promise that I would serve as a link for my family to leave Nigeria because what happened during the EndSARS protests had made me lose all hope in Nigeria. I set a target to bring one person a year after my graduation.
Ladiies and gentlemen, I am proud to say that I not only achieved this target, but I have also brought over two people from my family to do their master’s degrees in the UK as well. The latest being my younger brother who came here in October. Welcome to the UK, bro.
As them de plan to teach us and Peter Obi a lesson, we go de teach our family members how to fish so them no go sit down for house de find govt palliative.”

@AsiyaRodrigo; That’s amazing. Well done for your determination and massive action!
@SelomSarl; I read your message bro. I saw that you have been working hard for the country to recognize your future kids ,but it failed you . Not only you but all .
And now you have seen optional country as opportunity. Bcs our leaders fail to build our father’s land, destroy , sell it and pocket the money. Congratulations bro But I must say your younger brothers , are good listeners Dey obey you and listen to you is why you were able to get it done with God Grace .
@i_am_onto_u; Look at what young Nigerians think about their country and the government is okay with it….how do they even go to bed at night?
