Popular Nigerian singer Simi took to Instagram to celebrate her husband Adekunle Gold’s birthday, as he just turned the age of thirty-seven.
She wrote a lengthy message for him in Yoruba language, and this does not come as a surprise because Simi is a strong advocate for using Yoruba language, and this is reflected most of her songs.
At the end of the lengthy birthday message, which was attached to a cute video, Simi wrote, ‘Happy birthday Ife Mi’, which directly translates to ‘Happy Birthday my love’. Simi often flaunts her husband online, and the loved-up couple aren’t shy of showing each other off online.
Simi went further to state in the comment section to clarify that it wasn’t her daughter Deja’s birthday, as some netizens were confused because Deja appeared in almost every clip in the video Simi posted from the beginning to the end.
