Super Cup final will see Liverpool battle Chelsea to decide the best team in Europe for the out gone season.
Both Premier League clubs emerged victorious at the end of last season after winning the Champions League and Europa League respectively.
They have now been allocated about 5000 tickets for the final staging in Turkey in August Liverpool and Chelsea will get the 2019-20 European season started in August when both sides clash for the UEFA Super Cup title in Istanbul.
The Reds emerged winners of the Champions League earlier this month after overcoming Tottenham Hotspur in Madrid. While the Blues thumped Arsenal to win their second ever Europa League trophy in Baku late last month.
However, the organisers have however allocated just five thousand tickets to both fans of the club for the one off match which will be staged at the Vodafone Arena on August 14.
According to Sky Sports, UEFA confirmed about 78 percent of the tickets for the 38,000 capacity stadium will be released to the fans of both teams and the general public. Less than 24 hours later, Liverpool confirmed that they have 5,257 for the match in Turkey, but insisted that ticket numbers may change slightly. It would be recalled that the Premier League duo had issues getting their fans to the various venues of their UEFA cup triumphs.
Chelsea got about 5800 slots but travel logistics made most of their fans turn down the trip, while Liverpool handed about just 16,600 of the 64,000 tickets available for their Champions League final.
The organisers have also confirmed that the Super Cup tickets, which is now on sale will cost between £45 to £135.
Legit.ng earlier reported that a goal each from Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi were all Liverpool needed to beat Tottenham Hotspur and win the Champions League title.
The Egyptian forward powered the Reds in front in the early minutes of the meeting after converting a spot kick at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium on June 1. And the surprise player of the tournament Origi sealed the win with the game heading towards the end with a stunning strike.
