Literature-In-English Was My Favorite Subject In Secondary School – Fireboy DML


Rave of the moment and undoubtedly one of the talented new kids in the Nigeria music industry, Ademola Adefolahan, popular known as Fireboy DML has revealed that back then in secondary school, his favorite subject was Literature-in-English.

The Jealous singer made the statement on popular social media platform, Twitter when he had a question and answer session with his ever growing fans that are known as “Fire city”.

One of the fans asked the English Language graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) what his favorite subject was in secondary school, Fireboy said that, “literature-in-English always and forever”.

Fireboy who came into the limelight in the early part of 2019 after releasing his award winning hit single “Jealous”, which enjoyed airplay on all radio and television stations in Nigeria, Africa and the world as a whole.

The Ogun State born talented singer has gone on to release arguably the most successful album of 2019 which he titled “Laugh, Tears and Goosebumps”. After releasing the album in November 2019, a song on the album is presently the number 1 song in Nigeria and the number 1 album in the country.

Some songs off the album that are enjoying massive airplay include, Vibration, Like I do, Scatter, Jealous, What if I say, King and others.

Just yesterday, Liverpool players, Gini Wijnaldum and Virgil Van Dijk acknowledged on Twitter that Fireboy’s song, King is on their playlist and both players mentioned him on their timeline.

Recall that Fireboy DML is signed to YBNL record label which is owned by one of Nigeria’s biggest singers, Olamide.
