A Nigerian lady calls out her date ‘Pablo Richy’ after he reportedly ran away, leaving her and her friend with a bill of ₦69,000 at a restaurant.
The Tiktoker identified as @Adelicious101 shared her experience in a now-viral video about the man who invited her for dinner at an upscale restaurant in Lagos.
According to her, she arrived at the date with her friend and ordered fish and alcoholic drinks; including her date who came with his friend too.
However, after eating, the man and his friend allegedly excused themselves to “make a phone call” one after the other and never returned, leaving the ladies with N69,000 debt.
Frustrated and embarrassed, she posted the story online, expressing anger over the situation and warning others to be cautious. She rained curses on him, urging him to refund the amount paid to the restaurant.
The post ignited a wide range of reactions, with some sympathizing with her, while others debated whether the responsibility of footing the bill should always lie with one person on a date.
