The actor,fitness enthusiast and social advocate Kate Henshaw in a recent post on video Instagram @alibabagcfr page today February 25, 2020,’ I grew up not thinking of changing the colour of my skin, doubting who I am.I learnt prayer and hard work from my mother, right from my young age I have always been told I can do and become anything’.
The talented screen diva spoke about being in the industry for 27 years and she has never thought of doing anything her skin to make it in life or get ahead. Kate reiterated she has remained consistent through hard work,professionalism, discipline, she believes you too can reach your peak without altering your skin
Kate Henshaw reiterated that,’No one should tell you, you are not good enough just because of your skin colour so my message to you today is ,’Reach not bleach’.
Kate Henshaw further said,’So many black strong women have done so well, accomplished so much .The recent Miss Universe who is a South African, dark, natural hair,confident and beautiful, the narrative needs to change and we need to be confident of who we are, regardless of our skin colour, black is beautiful, this melanin is magical so ‘Reach not bleach’
