A young lady, Patrick Mercy and many Nigerian youths on Wednesday bombarded the controversial singer, Azeez Fashola, with their bank account numbers, begging him to send them money.
Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, was observed to have urged fellow Nigerians, in series of tweets, to give to others who need help at this Coronavirus stay-at-home period.
With this, many Nigerian youths started dropping their bank account details, with the hope of getting financial aid from the ‘Aye yi o le’ crooner.
A beautiful lady, identified as Patrick Mercy, in reply to one of his tweets, said, “Pls, I’m a hungry child. I need money.”
The lady, dropped her account details, begging Naira Marley to some giveaway.
Naira Marley, in another tweet said: “Give, but, if possible, spare the poor man the shame of begging.”
In reply, one Oladele Toyosi, said “I’m even proud to be begging. I’m proud, better you can call me BEGGELIN”
Another lady said, “Please give me, I don’t have shame.”
