“I’m 34 now and wondering how I’ll ever start again, he took the best part of my youth” – Lad cries out as boyfriend of 7 years marries another lady

A 34-year-old South African woman shares a heart-breaking story on social media after her boyfriend of 7 years married another woman on her birthday.

This was revealed in a lengthy post she shared with her thousands of followers on a popular social media platform, X (formerly Twitter).

In the post, she expressed that she is currently hurting deeply after discovering that her boyfriend, whom she has been dating since 2017, recently got married to another woman.

Revealing the incident, she wrote: “My boyfriend (ex now) of almost 7 years got married to a certain lady over my birthday weekend 2 weeks ago. I’m hurting so much right now, how he lied to me and betrayed me, and I couldn’t see past the smoke screen.”

“I’m 34 now and wondering how I’ll ever start again. He took the best part of my youth, from October 14th, 2017 until May 30th, 2024. If he knew that he would not marry me, I ask myself over and over again why did he drag me along all this while? I’m so hurt and broken, guys. I know I have to move on, and I will, but right now I’m hurting so badly.”

Moments after she shared her side of the story, concerned individuals flooded the comment section of the post to share their thoughts.

See some reactions:

@melDegrees: “Hey Mitch..so sorry doll, it’s absolutely fine to hurt over a person you totally cared for, and that things didn’t work as you hoped. You will love again, forget all this and just live your life the way you can best!”

@anael__mevoung: “It’s completely understandable that you’re hurting right now. Take all the time you need to process your emotions, and remember that you are strong and resilient. You will find the strength to move on and create a new beginning for yourself.”

@Stupadasos: “i know exactly how you feel i spent 6 years and 2 kids later with a girl that broke me as well. it took me 3 years to move on and finally get over it. Time is the only thing that heals you, and it will….believe me, it will. in the meantime…hang in there, keep your chin up.”

@mrsnya4: “This is why growing up with your father; and allowing your father to lead you is important. A father would never let a man indefinitely sex his daughter. But alas, we’ve created a culture where women can do, what men can do: and then realize at the end of the road, “we can’t.”
