Nigerian actress, Esther Nwachukwu fondly called Esther Sky has revealed that she grew up with relatives who maltreated her.
The social media influencer said she was not raised with love and that is the major reason she is very controversial on social media.
Esther is popular for making lewd comments on the internet and promoting different societal vices like cheating, promiscuity, and other controversial matters.
She, however, said that if she eventually becomes rich, she would drop all the controversy and become a new person.
The actress stated this in an interview with Saturday Beats, adding that her upbringing also affected her love life.
On being controversial, she said; “I am not doing it to grow followers on social media. I lost my Instagram page with hundreds of thousands of followers because of my controversy. I was raised in a bitter way.
I wasn’t raised with love. That is why I am this way. If I make money, I will stop being controversial. I did not grow up with my parents. I grew up with relatives, and I was maltreated.”
Speaking on how her upbringing affects her love life, Nwachukwu said; “In every relationship I have been involved in, I have always needed more love. I just want to be loved.”
Esther also insisted that she and married actor, Pope Odonwodo were having amorous affair, and they were ‘very good friends’, but ‘he was not a straightforward person’.
Asked if she was the one that made advances at him, she said; “I cannot make advances at a man. It is a man who would make advances on me. He knows he cannot reach out to me (since I called him out), because I have blocked him everywhere (on social media).”
Nwachukwu further said that she was only joking when she stated that she preferred dating married men to single men.
