Nollywood actress and movie producer, Mary Remmy Njoku has revealed that she was desperate to work with legendary comic actor, Sam Loco Efe.
The movie star said that when she was aspiring to be a producer, she wanted to create a show just so that she could feature the late actor.
Mary made this known in an Instagram post while paying tribute to the Nollywood veteran whom she expressed admiration for.
The actress shared a photo of Sam Loco while reflecting on her journey as a filmmaker, crediting him with inspiring her and the Nigerian film industry.
She referred to the iconic stage act one of the most talented actors Nigeria has ever known and prayed for him to rest on.
Mary wrote; “Life is short. When I was an aspiring Producer, I wanted to work with you so badly, even though you barely knew me. I dreamt of creating a show just to feature you. You were one of the most talented actors Nigeria has ever known and possibly ever will know.
“Today, as I reflect on my journey as a filmmaker, I celebrate your contribution to my life as a creative and to Nollywood. Your craft inspired a whole generation of filmmakers. Take your flowers and rest on, LEGEND of all time!”.
