Paulo Okoye reacts to Spyro latest interview
Music executive and show promoter Paulo Okoye has hit back at upcoming singer, Spyro.
Tontrends reported that Spyro in an interview with Echo Room, shared his ordeals while he was signed to Paulo Okoye’s record label. He claimed that he had to take a loan to take care of himself while with the label as he never made anything from the label.
He said Paulo knew of his plight and never did anything about it as he wasn’t good at running a label. Spyro, however, said that the lover of actress, Iyabo Ojo is a kind man and is good in show business but not in handling his record label affairs.
"I was signed to a record label owned by a billionaire who owns like 3 Rolls Royce… but I was signed and nothing was happening. I wasn't even getting a dime…"

In 2023, the upcoming singer opened up about his financial journey, revealing that he started the year with very little money in his account, less than 10,000 Naira. However, he has achieved significant success since the beginning of the year, including buying cars and multiple houses for himself and his family.
In another post, Spyro revealed how his mother’s suffering inspired him to excel as he celebrated her birthday.
In other news, last year, Spyro sent a message to upcoming artists. He educated them that signing with the biggest label or artiste in the world doesn’t guarantee their success. Enlightening them, Spyro made it known that one’s talent without diligence and hard work will fail one. The “Who Is Your Guy” singer went on to admonish them to stop building castles in the air, waiting for labels/people, and start investing in themselves.
