Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka has finally broken his silence after he missed a penalty that would have taken Arsenal six points clear of City at the London stadium.
The game against West Ham started in a good manner for the gunners as they raced to a two goal lead within the space of 15 minutes in the London derby. But a resilient and determined West Ham came back from two goals down to earn a point.
Saka had the opportunity to put the gunners 3:1 up at the beginning of the second half but blew his spot kick away. However, West Ham equalized just moments later after he missed the penalty kick. This draw means Manchester City are just four points below Arsenal and have an outstanding match against Arsenal on April 26th.
Bukayo Saka, in an Instagram post after the match has apologized to Arsenal fans worldwide. He said: ‘regardless of the outcome, I will always accept responsibility. I sincerely apologize, and I will do everything in my power to make it right’.
