An Oyinbo lady identified as Joanna Orou, has taken to social media to voice her frustration over incessant unsolicited emails she has been receiving from individuals she suspects to be ‘Yahoo boys’.
In a recent TikTok video posted under the handle @joannaorou, she addressed these individuals, referring to them as “Yahoo boys.”
Joanna, an expatriate residing in Greece, expressed her dismay at the relentless attempts by these alleged scammers to deceive her.
According to her video, she claims to have received as many as 100 unsolicited emails from individuals whom she does not know but strongly suspects are involved in fraudulent activities.
These emails, she alleges, often contain offers, promises of financial gain, or requests for personal information.
In the TikTok video that has since gained attention on social media, Joanna directly addresses the “Yahoo boys” and questions whether they are not weary of continuously attempting to deceive her.
She appears to be resolute in her stance against their advances and asserts that she can identify their intentions. Intriguingly,
she shared that some of these individuals have purportedly claimed to work for the American Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
