A man living in the United Kingdom (UK), Charles Arinze Nwabude, has reacted to reports gospel singer Oluwatimileyin Ajayi allegedly killed his girlfriend, Salome Adaidu.
Recall that Oluwatimileyin Ajayi was arrested after he was caught with his rumored girlfriend’s severed head near a church in Orozo, bordering Nasarawa and Abuja.
In a Facebook post, Charles expressed his heartbreak at the development and revealed that he knew the gospel singer since they were choristers at Christ Embassy in Umuahia and Abuja.
According to Charles, Ajayi wanted more from life but always got unlucky. He once declared himself an atheist before repenting and returning to the church. He revealed that they lost communication at some points.
He wrote, “The story of Timi is one that really breaks my heart. Apart from the fact that I knew him from his days at Christ Embassy Umuahia and Abuja church choir, he was someone who wanted more from life but always finds himself at the wrong side of his strategies. He declared himself an atheist at some point, repented of his actions few months after then and went back to church. few months later, he left Christ Embassy and veered fully into producing and recording gospel songs. We lost communications at a point and this is where the story sufficed.”
“Here are a few things I want you all to note about this story:1. Any society that puts mammon before character will always have their next generations to contend with. Your kids will grow up to look at those people you worship as inspirations and would repeat the same pattern of wickedness they do.”
“Nigeria movies in the early 90s made movies to warm us about these acts but today we celebrate them relentlessly shouting “money na water” and we sometimes think some of these slangs are normal. We are witnessing a very high adulterous generation right before our very eyes and some of us can’t even notice it.”
“The girl that is allegedly killed in this romp is not a runs girl. She could be an innocent girl that allegedly loved her man and believed that one day he will make it but she didn’t make it. Not every girl that is killed by a ritualist is a runs babe. Some of them were dating those people or were good friends to them without knowing who they really are.”
“There is a lot of ritualistic acts going on in the Nigeria Christian religion sector that is heavily hidden. Some of the pastors and gospel singers you celebrate have very high ritualistic tendencies. The people in their inner caucuses know these things. Timi is just one of the unfortunate culprits.”
