Nollywood actress Chioma Ifemeludike is stepping into the ring with a fierce critique of her colleague Halima Abubakar’s recent apology to Apostle Johnson Suleman, igniting a firestorm of speculation about the true nature of Halima’s retraction.

On Wednesday, Halima publicly addressed her earlier allegations against Suleman in a letter posted on Instagram, retracting claims that he had inflicted her with a life-threatening illness and caused her to suffer multiple miscarriages.

In a heartfelt attempt to seek forgiveness, she hoped the apology would mend fences, but Suleman, unmoved by her words, categorically rejected her plea, insisting that his stance remains unchanged.

Chioma, never one to shy away from controversy, wasted no time voicing her doubts about Halima’s sincerity. On her Instagram, she challenged Halima to clarify what exactly she was apologizing for, pointing out that the gravity of the accusations made over the years cannot be brushed aside with a few hastily penned lines.

She wrote,

“What exactly is Halima Abubakar apologising for? Is it that she didn’t date him, or that he didn’t cause the health issues she dragged him for years over, including evidence of her swollen stomach?

“We need clarity. I hope the apology wasn’t made under pressure.”

Her comments took a sharper turn as she alleged that Suleman seemed far more concerned with salvaging his public image than exhibiting any genuine remorse.

Chioma averred;

“Instead of genuinely seeking the face of God, he’s just trying to clean up the mess he made,”
