“I got trouble for writing love letters to my female friends in school” – Temmie Ovwasa reveals

Nigerian singer, Temmie Ovwasa has taken to social media to disclose that she entered into an awkward situation when she was caught penning down romantic letters to her fellow female colleagues, when she was still a student. She made such disclosure on Instagram.

Temmie Ovwasa who spoke about such issue through her official Instagram story, was asked by one of her fans during a question and answer session on the worst trouble that she got into as a kid.

And so the singer in response to such question, revealed that;

“I got into a lot of trouble as an autistic child that did not understand rules, but none will ever be as intense as getting into trouble for writing love letters to my female friends in school, I was clueless, autistic, hopeless romantic. Naturally I didn’t know I was supposed to hide being a g*y and everybody knew.

“When my mom started being weird I thought it would be a bright idea to write the same letter to the pastor’s son as cover up, because if I give a boy the same letter then nobody would think I’m g*y, stupid idea because I just got more trouble and at that point it was pretty clear that I liked girls so the deliverance sessions began for the next few years of my life.

“I also got in a lot of trouble for reporting my mum to the school counselor after she threw a knife at me. Fun times”.
