The estranged lover of Nollywood actor, Alexx Ekubo, Fancy Acholonu, said that Alex has been manipulating her and has succeeded in trying to ruin her reputation just because she left him.
On the 29th of December, 2022, fancy had tendered a public apology to Alexx Ekubo, saying that she still loved him and missed him.
She pleaded for his forgiveness, stressing that she has worked on herself and has learnt how to keep her emotions in check. She apologized for the pain the breakup caused Alexx and his family.
After she posted the now-deleted apology, rumors about she and Alexx being together before the apology hit the internet.
There were speculations that Alexx actually vetted the apology before she posted it. On the 2nd of January, 2023, Fancy Acholonu decided to clear the air as she shed more light on her relationship with Alexx. In a recent post she made on her Instagram page, she said in the comment section that Alexx manipulated her into making the public apology; a trap which she fell for.
“I endured everything a typical Nigerian woman typically does for her man, which is lies and all his cheating etc. But to make me apologize publicly constantly, it is wrong. Alex needs to stop his manipulation. His ego and wanting me to say sorry all the time is the problem, not me”, she wrote.
