Popular Nigerian singer, Abolore Adegbola Akande also known as 9ice, says the entertainment space is wide enough to fit upcoming talented Nigerians willing to create a niche for themselves in the industry.
“there is nothing like take over in the entertainment industry. Space plenty.” he said.
The 2008 Best Hip Hop Artist at the MTV Africa Music Awards while speaking during a popular show on radio (Yaw and Yaw), insists that signing an artist requires a lot.
“it requires a marketing channel, it requires a distribution channel. When you sign artist sometimes you no go fit do your own thing.” he said.
9ice also frowned at the young upcoming artist who look down on their record labels because they feel they are now bigger than the labels that brought them to limelight.

He insists that his inability to sign any artist does not diminish his support for young upcoming artists in the industry.
