‘I charge 20 million to perform’ – Spyro

Nigerian singer, Oludipe David, popularly known as Spyro, has revealed that he charges N20 million to perform in Nigeria.
He disclosed this while speaking in an interview with echo room.

Spyro also opened up on his beef with Ubi Franklin, the popular Nigerian music artists manager, and close friends of Davido.

He stated that his issue with Ubi began over a disagreement in payment for his performance.

According to him, Davido was meant to perform at fellow musician Iyanya’s birthday, and Ubi came to inform him that Davido wanted them to also perform after which he will pay them N5000 each.

“I called him to the side, I said, bro, I don’t charge 5k, the least i charge in Nigerian currency is N20 million.

“On getting there, David was on stage, he came down from the stage and i was immediately called up.

“I could not decline at that moment because there were lots of dignitaries there, and afterwards had to digger it out with Ubi for my pay,” he stated.

Ubi Franklin has often been referred to as Davido’s personal assistant and nanny.
