“I am from Gabon not Nigeria” – Zack Orji reveals shortly after his successful brain surgery (Video)

Veteran Nollywood actor, Zack Orji has revealed that he was born in Gabon, making him a citizen of the Central African nation.

Zack said his father used to travel to different countries due to the nature of his work, and in one of those trips his mother gave birth to him in Gabon.

According to the movie star, his dad gave him the middle name, Amaefuna, which is translated to – Let my heritage not be lost.

Zack Orji who spoke on a podcast, revealed that he recently went back to Gabon as part of efforts to connect with his roots, and he also directed a film there.

He said; “By reason of my work I travel to different countries, and by reason of my father’s work he also traveled to different countries, he had a knowledge of in one of his travels, I was born in Gabon. As God would have it, I have gone back to Gabon to direct a film.”

This is coming after he was said to have successfully undergone two brain surgeries, and that forms the basis on which social media users are reacting to his revelation that he is a Gabonese.
