Scottish-Nigerian actress Carolyna Hutchings recounts the experience of losing everything following her divorce from her ex-husband, Musa Danjuma.
In a lengthy Instagram post on Wednesday, the actress revealed that she lost her identity and dreams after the divorce.
Reflecting on her journey, she explained that the separation forced her to start over, facing discrimination and rejection along the way.
“I was once a promising makeup artist and hair guru, actress, film producer and fashion consultant. CEO Luxury Addict, CEO Kinetic Media. But I lost my identity and dreams because of divorce.
“I walked away from it all for my own sanity. I started my journey from scratch facing all the fake rumors, discriminations, rejections and uncertainties at 29+ years.
“A conversation that women who have walked the same part hate to talk about. A bittersweet journey to a place unknown. This is my story. How I was able to become better than who I was financially and mentally.
I will be telling it my own way. I am here to listen to you and heal with you .. my story will only be to encourage the broken, the shattered ones .. THERE IS LIFE AFTER Divorce, rejection, pain, hurt or death..
