Former Senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani has alleged that he would have been gone missing mysteriously under former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai.

He said that just like Abubakar Dadiyata, he would have been abducted and declared missing under the immediate past Kaduna government.

It may be recalled that Dadiyata, a journalist, was declared missing on August 2, 2019.

Taking to his Twitter page, Sani claimed it was God who saved his life under the government of El-Rufai.

Ex-Governor, El-Rufai served two tenures, between from 2015 to 2023.

Sani wrote; “I would have been another Dadiyata; this is how The Almighty saved my life under the Government of Mr Elrufai from 2015 to 2023.”

Dadiyata went missing when unidentified men seized him from his residence in the Barnawa neighbourhood of Kaduna State.

He was a popular social media critic of the APC-led government.

Meanwhile, Sani recently shared his observation regarding the reaction of the citizenry to the 2023 presidential election.

The vocal politician, in a series of posts on his Twitter page drew attention to a state of the nation where there is a conflict of emotions.

Sani noted that the people are not protesting over the result neither as they rejoicing that Bola Ahmed Tinubu was declared president.

According to him, there are indications that the nation will witness a long legal battle between the leading parties, APC, PDP and LP.

He said; “The state of the nation; No protests and no Jubilations.

Asiwaju’s peace overtures is good, but I don’t think it will produce any result with the PDP and LP Presidential candidates. The country will certainly be dragged into a long legal battle.

The ex-representative of Kaduna central in the senate also spoke on how Buhari reacted to the election result.

When we were voting some youths were playing football; were they sending us a message? Also President Buhari has never congratulated any person he contested against. President Buhari has gone to Court in all the elections he contrasted except the one he won.”
