Fitness Blogger Shares 15 Reasons Why She’s Been Called A “Bad Mom” In A Viral Post

It is very tough being a mom in this day and age,” Sia Cooper, a single Mom of two said in a post. “Social media makes it so easy to be judged and to judge others. I have been judged for using canned goods all the way to me having tattoos – you cannot win with some people.”

In response to them, Sia penned an honest open letter, explaining why she embraced that label. Her post has resonated with over 28,000 people, many of whom applauded both Sia’s honesty and her philosophy on raising kids.

She also believes that encountering a person who judges you for your parenting choices puts you in a difficult situation. There’s no easy way out and one has to listen to their intuition. “It is almost as if you are damned if you respond, damned if you don’t,” Sia said. “You know what is best for your own family so trust your gut and don’t care what anyone else says or thinks.”

Sia has two kids. Greyson, 5, and Everly, 3. She became a personal trainer after many women started asking her for plans. Sia saw a demand that needed to be filled and acquired a specialization in Women’s Fitness and Fitness Nutrition through NASM.

Sia Cooper’s Story

I went to nursing school in 2010 and this is where my weight began climbing. By the time of my graduation, I was overweight, constantly sick, and tired of feeling heavy. I was a full-time college student working part time and I was making barely any money to afford anything more than fast food. I had no clue where to start so I decided to educate myself and make a lifestyle change in which I dropped 45lbs in just 9 months, from clean eating alone.

I started my blog as a way to help keep me accountable, and share with others what has worked and what hasn’t. I also used my blog to help keep me accountable throughout my first pregnancy in which I worked out until labor began and gained 30lbs throughout.

Through this website, I hope to motivate and inspire as many people as I can to transform their lives for the better.

Fitness blogger Sia Cooper is no stranger to mummy-shaming. Sia was shamed earlier for posting bikini picture on Instagram in another post she share to her Instagram followers.

Sia wasn’t surprised when a stranger told her to cover up for the sake of her children.

But when she uploaded a sexy pic of her on Instagram and was questioned over why she chose to do so, she couldn’t hold back.

The troll commented: ‘To show your gains you don’t have to show your behind like that. You are a mother, think about what your children see … Unfollowed.
