Extremists violate ceasefire in Syrian provinces


Extremists have neglected the ceasefire in the Syrian regions Hama and Latakia as well as in the city of Aleppo within 24 hours, the leader of the Russian Defense Ministry’s Center for Syrian Reconciliation, on Wednesday as reported by Maj. Gen. Viktor Kupchishin.

Kupchishin stated that terrorists had attacked Safsafa and the likes over the past day including government areas in the Hama province. He said;

“Over the past day, terrorists attacked Safsafa, Nahshebba, Quldjok-Penar, Djub al-Zarur, Ikko, Kinsibba, Mamuhiyah, Aqch Bair and Ain al-Hammam in Latakia province, southwestern outskirts of Aleppo city, as well as positions of government forces in Hama province”, Kupchishin said at a press briefing.

The General added that in the settlement of Hatlah in Deir Ez-Zor province, the center made one humanitarian delivery.

Russia, Turkey, and Iran pose as a guarantor of the truce in Syria. Moscow has likewise been helping Damascus in supporting the battle against the terrorist group by assisting in humanitarian aid to local residents and helping in the return of exiles.

With the authority regained by the Syrian government of most of the territories of the country, which was taken by terrorists, it is now bent on creating conditions which are favorable to repatriating refugees.
