Calabar people have returned the stolen diamond pendant of popular Nigerian singer Mayorkun after the singer placed a reward of N5M to anyone who returns it.
The good news was shared with all and sundry today, December 21st 2023 by singer Iyanya who hails from Cross River State.
Recall that Mayorkun trends online as he vows never to perform in Calabar again after his diamond neck chains were stolen during his performance at the Calabar festival.
However, Iyanya his fellow celebrity, stepped in and aided in the recovery of one of the stolen chains from his people.
Even though the Cross River State governor H.E. Prince Bassey Otu personally met with Mayorkun and promised to compensate him, the singer insisted on searching for the diamond pendant adding that it is very special to him and placed a reward of N5M to whoever finds and returns it.
Hours after, Iyanya via his page on X shared a video that disclosed that someone just found the diamond pendant on the floor and brought it to a radio station named Hit FM.
Iyanya expressed his delight and thanked his Calabar people for returning Mayorkun’s stolen diamond pendant.
