A Nigerian singer, Appyday has taken to social media to call out fellow singer, Duncan Mighty.
According to the post, he reportedly paid Duncan Mighty the sum of 1million to record a verse for his song and appear in the video of which he didn’t.
Reacting to the accusations, Duncan Mighty claims the money paid was for studio booking.
It appears a lawsuit is lurking in the corners for Nigerian singer, Duncan Mighty after another singer identified as Appyday accused Mighty of swindling him of 1million which was paid for a verse of a song and appearance in the video.
According to Appyday, Duncan Mighty did not show up to record the verse and neither did he travel to Lagos to appear in the music video even after hotel accommodations were paid for Mighty.
” Sharing proof of payments done, according to Appyday wrote: Duncan Mighty at Duncan mighty Swindled me, collected 1 million Naira to feature in my single “She Don’t Care” did not show up. Above is proof of payment to Duncan at Duncan mighty and his brand manager Western Momodu. Totalling 1 million Naira plus conversations between Duncan’s manager and my manager. Duncan claims the money was for Studio booking, My People please, which Nigerian producer collected 1 million for studio booking to record a verse on an already finished song.
Besides, My single was already finished. I only paid Duncan to drop a verse in my finished song and be in the video. I already made arrangement for the studio and engineer, Duncan
was just supposed to come to Lagos and record. And I also paid for his flight and hotel accommodation.
And now Duncan pretends he is innocent and even says he will go to the River for me Hmm. I have a question for my fellow Nigerians here, So in Nigeria, somebody will collect your money, refuse to do the job and also intimidate you? I AM SPEECHLESS…..
