British Nigerian boxing champion, Anthony Joshua has urged Cameroonian boxer, Francis Ngannou not to leave boxing due to his Friday night loss.
Ngannou made his boxing debut last October, stunning Tyson Fury by knocking him down in the third round before losing a split decision.
However, Joshua defeated the former UFC star in his second professional fight which held at the Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia.
Joshua asserted his dominance from the opening bell, scoring a huge first round knockdown when he flattered Ngannou with a vicious right. Ngannou survived to the second round when he was knocked down again by Joshua.
Joshua then detonated one of his finest ever knockouts to leave the Cameroonian motionless on the canvas.
Ngannou later got to his feet, and in the centre of the ring embraced Joshua who told him not to leave boxing because he still has a big career in the sporting event.
Joshus said; “You are an inspiration. You will beat a lot of people. Don’t leave boxing. Don’t leave boxing. If you need anything, let me know, but we will speak another time.”
